Análisis sobre los desafíos actuales de la democracia, la participación y representación política de las mujeres en Panamá (2019-2024)

This study analyzes the speeches of those who held the presidency of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly during the 2019–2024 term. The methodology is based on the use of categories that allow for an examination of the discursive construction in relation to democracy, political-electoral rights, political representation, and the relationship between branches of government. Additionally, a gender perspective integrates the participation of women into the discourse analysis, focusing on their influence on laws and public policies that promote the advancement of women under equal conditions and opportunities.
